Aki Jū-ni Jingi （The Twelve Plays of Aki）

This ancient style of kagura is performed and preserved in Hiroshima and Hatsukaichi Cities. The name Aki Jū-ni Jingi, or the Twelve Plays of Aki, comes from their plays which are built upon the concept of twelve, long considered a sacred number. The plays vary from religious to dramatic.
